About Nerdania
Free games for curious minds
Nerdania in one sentence: 121 free, family-friendly browser games – sports, arcade, puzzle, word, memory, number, board and children's games – each with a 100-level campaign you earn one level at a time, with no sign-up and no chat.
Who we are
Nerdania is designed, built and run by CodeLuma Development Inc., a small software company in Nova Scotia, Canada. We build websites and apps for clients, and Nerdania is our own project: a place where families can find good games without accounts, pressure to spend, or anything a parent would worry about.
What makes our games different
- Every game has 100 levels. Difficulty grows gently, one small step at a time, so progress feels earned. Read how our campaigns work.
- Short levels with natural stopping points. A level takes a minute or two, which makes it easy to keep game time healthy.
- Fair puzzles. Our logic puzzles are generated so that every level can be solved.
- Play anywhere. Games run in the browser on phones, tablets and computers, and most can also be installed as a free Android app.
- Play together. Many games include two-player or pass-and-play modes for family game nights.
Safe for children and families
- No accounts, no names and no email addresses are needed to play.
- No chat, no messaging and no user-generated content, so children cannot be contacted by strangers.
- No loot boxes, gambling mechanics or pay-to-win items.
- Game progress is kept in your browser on your own device, not on our servers.
- To keep the games free, some pages show non-personalised ads. Ads never appear inside a game while it is being played, or on checkout pages, and sensitive ad categories are blocked.
Full details are in our privacy policy and terms.
Guides for parents, teachers and players
Alongside the games we publish practical, original guides: choosing games by age, healthy screen time, logic puzzle strategies, mental maths tricks and more. See all guides.
How the site is funded
Playing on Nerdania is free. The site is supported by non-personalised advertising and by optional app purchases for people who want to own a game outright. Nothing is ever needed to keep playing.
